About StateLicensure

Built for physicians who practice across state lines.

Telehealth opened practice across state lines. Licensure didn't keep up. Every state has different requirements, renewal cycles, telehealth-specific rules, and compact eligibility. StateLicensure organizes that complexity into a physician-grade interface.

Mission

One source of truth for telehealth licensure — and nothing else.

We're a small editorial & engineering team based in California. We're not a marketing platform, not a referral network, not a CME provider, not a billing tool. We track licensure rules and tell you when they change. That's the whole product.

Editorial principles

How we decide what reaches you.

PRINCIPLE 01

Every alert is reviewed by a human

Nothing auto-publishes. A human editor reads every state board update, federal rulemaking, and compact announcement before it reaches your dashboard.

PRINCIPLE 02

Every claim cites a primary source

State medical boards, CMS, DEA rulemaking on federalregister.gov, IMLC bulletins. If we can't link to the source, we don't publish the rule.

PRINCIPLE 03

We track rules, not clinical practice

StateLicensure does not make clinical recommendations or suggest treatment. We surface what the board says. Physicians decide what to do.

PRINCIPLE 04

No advertising, no pharma money

We take no money from pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers, telehealth platforms, or insurers. Subscription revenue only. No conflicts.

Data sources

Every rule traces back to a primary source.
